Aurora timelapse...

Shot this July 25/26 an hour outside the city.600 frames, 20 secs exp,20 secs interval, f.5, iso 800, used ML. Lens at 18mm.

The city of Winnipeg, Canada. Where  we were at is about 60 miles east, called Seddons corner, its actually a set of gravel pits. Heres a map thingy...

Very nice!  I wouldn't have thought you could find so dark a spot so close to a major city, but the proof is in your shot.

Nicely done!

I've been toying with a week or so up in Churchill this winter for a chance at a polar bear encounter(s) and shoot some more aurora!
