First showreel

HD Daniel Toole Showreel


This is the first one I've made so far, I plan to make another one at the end of the year.

Not bad, I would work a little more in post with color correction, give it a more professional look.
Do you do a lot of urban exploring?

Thanks man, I plan too in the future with the colour correction.
And not really, I used to but now I only go if I have a shoot in the location. Where as before I used to go for the fun of exploring.

I thought it was pretty cool.
I would spend a lot of time working out your pacing and flow when it comes to your reel. Definitely expirement with a rush of action at the drop of that song. Have a definite feeling to go for. I would also try and get a few more videos to add to the reel. I understand maybe you dont have a lot of work to show off, but its better to wait to make a showreel until you do.
Also, from a footage stand point. If you plan on doing slow-mo, I suggest shooting at 60fps+ and then undercranking in post. It makes it a lot smoother and over-all looks better. 
"Wow, that camera takes nice pictures!"
