PSE10 Problem - Help!
« on: February 06, 2013, 04:11:10 PM »
So, I was trying to install my PSE10 on a new computer and got this message:

"The program or feature "\??\D:\Adobe Photoshop Elements 10\Setup.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask of a 64-bit windows compatible version is available"

I read up on it ans supposedly I shouldn't be having this problem. Probably gonna have to call, but I was hoping some of you know how to resolve this before I have to sit for hours on the phone! :)

Did the software come as 2 discs? I have read one is for 32 bit systems and the other for 64 bit systems.
6D, T2i, Canon 600EX, 430EXII, and some other stuff my wife doesn't know about.

It looks like the 2nd CD is a Elements Premiere Free Trial.

From what I've read, you'll have to use the 64bit cd to be able to install it on windows 8....is there a 64bit folder on that cd?
