New from Rochester, NY USA
« on: March 30, 2015, 07:04:38 PM »
Hi there, I inherited this awesome camera after my father passed away, recently.

Hope to learn a lot, here. Having fun with the camera, so far, but need to get more informed about some of the features on it.

Thanks.

Welcome aboard!  Sorry you had to acquire your camera in that way, but I'm glad you're enjoying it.  It is a very capable camera that performs quite well in full auto mode, but it will also take you about as far as you might want to go in photography once you learn to use it to its capacity.

Ditto what they said before me.
Personally, I'm hoping with the nickname with the word mopar in it...will lead to some great looking car shots?  8)
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

Welcome to the group!

Absolutely, and looking forward to it!

Just kind of toying with it, now. Outside and inside shots, nature, old ruins of buildings, etc.

Thanks to all for the welcome.
