FS: Canon 100-400L f4-5.6 IS
« on: November 05, 2015, 12:54:02 PM »
As noted in another thread:  I bought a different lens (for multiple reasons) and now have this beast of a lens for sale.
I will be taking some photos of it shortly (and will edit this when I do) but I wanted to get this posted while I was thinking about it.
If you are in the market for a longer lens, you already know the specs of this.
With that in mind: 750.00 or best offer works for me.
I have the lens, caps, a polarizer filter on it, and the case.
(I lack the box that it comes from the factory in)
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

I've heard that lens goes soft past 350mm.    ;D

Seriously, sorely tempted but can't decide if I want to save up for the mark II version.

I never wanted to admit that it might be operator error on shots past 350. ;)

I also wanted to get a MkII version but damn...I can't afford that. I don't have the kind of pocket change that Suka has.
<chuckle>

I have only found this lens being a little soft at 400mm.  I really do like this lens and would use it more, but kind of like the 300mm prime a little better.  I'm saving up for the 600mm prime, hopefully when I'm 80 will be able to take a photo of a bird.

Shhh..don't tell anyone but I also posted this on Craigslist.
I put it at 800.00.
Don't tell anyone else that I would take 650.00 for it either.  ::)
