Help posting pics
« on: December 10, 2012, 04:46:08 PM »
I'm trying to post a pic from flickr. I can paste the bb code and see the photo but if you click on the posted photo it redirects to my flickr page. I don't want that and that isn't what other forum members photos do. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
6D, T2i, Canon 600EX, 430EXII, and some other stuff my wife doesn't know about.

Craig, when I use flickr, I don't copy the bb code. I right click on the image and one of the options is to Copy image address.   I click on the little Mona Lisa icon and place what I copied in that.

Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

Take out everything that copying the code gives you other than the part between the img tags. Leave the img tags and what is between them and you will be fine.
I'm an old film guy just playing catchup in this digital world. Help me out.
