A nightmare of epic proportions
« on: November 27, 2013, 09:19:16 AM »
So, I just woke up and man was my heart racing from this nightmare that I had.

Apparently I was at some sort of photography conference, because there were tons of other photographers at this hotel as well. We were all scrambling as there had been a huge robbery where most of us had had our rooms broken into and our gear stolen. They took my 70-200 2.8, but left my 7D in the bag (uh, thanks, I guess). They also took my laptop. Down in the lobby, everyone was scrambling on lenstag.com to report their gear as stolen as we were waiting on the police to show up. Then, someone claimed they knew who had taken the stuff and some sort of angry mob formed (no pitch forks though, this isn't 1765) and everyone took off to track them down. At that point I woke up.

That's funny!  Me, despite our enlightened modern age, I would've grabbed a pitchfork and ventilated the perp!

p.s.  didn't know about lenstag, going to check that out now.
