A380 pilot's view of landing at SFO
« on: July 17, 2013, 03:58:43 PM »
This is WAY off topic, but I've noticed there are more than a few aircraft nerds on this site and some of you may find this interesting.  I thought it was uber cool to see what the pilot's are seeing and doing when landing one of these monsters.  Doesn't hurt that I've landed as a passenger at SFO several times.

Video is really well done, cutting back and forth from pilot's view to a view of the plane from outside.

That was cooool.  They made that look way too easy, I gotta admit.
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

Glad you liked it.  I'm not necessarily calling you an aero-nerd, but you may have been one of the people I had in mind.   ;)
