I know this is a minor point, but I don't like the colour they decided to run with for their L lenses...

They remind me of the old days of beige PCs...

The colors are not quite the same. Those computers had a lot more yellow in them.

That's just being pedantic - they are both rather terrible colours for electronics/gadgets... I mean anything...

If my next "want" lens is only available in freaking PINK, I will take it.    :D
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

That's the spirit!

To be honest, hot pink would probably be better than what they use now :P

I love beige and blues so.....right down my alley. Now, if it wouldn't be for a s**load of stuff we just bought this last month, the 6D would have been attached to it. Just gonna have to wait a couple more months :-((

Nice choice! I rented the 70-200 ƒ/2.8 L for a few weeks for a recent Arizona trip and was BLOWN AWAY by the image quality. Just amazing focus, color, and sharpness.

I want one now, but as I hike into a lot of the places I go- I might opt for the ƒ/4 version to shed some weight.

To be fair to Canon, that color scheme was designed in the 70's...
