Nope, very happy with my 550d.

A friend just bought Nikon,  and I was comparing the two, but to bring that on a Canon board?

I did wonder why you must have been searching for Nikon!

I am still unsure if we should trust you any more!  >:(

Solemnly, freely, and without mental reservation, I hereby renounce under oath all allegiance to any foreign camera manufacturer. My fidelity and allegiance from this day forward is to the United States of Canon. I pledge to support, honor, and be loyal to the Canon, its camera bodies, and its lenses. Where and if lawfully required, I further commit myself to defend the Composition and rule of thirds of Canon against all enemies, film and digital, either by military, noncombatant, or civilian service. This I do solemnly swear, so help me God.

Did you just use the US oath of allegiance?

Unless I am very confused, aren't you a Brit? :P

That is pretty funny at that. Nikon's way of trying to convert Canon users.

By the way, is a catalog or owner's manual published by Canon... a "Canon canon"?!?  :P  ;D

At least on a forum, there's no worries about having rotten tomatoes lobbed at you.  :P

I remember when Asda ran a scheme where advertisers could print coupons on your receipt based on what you bought. So if you bought Tetley you got a coupon for Ty-Phoo, and if you bought Ty-Phoo you got a coupon for Tetley. Totally makes sense for the advertisers, why give a discount to an existing customer? But totally sucks for consumers, the coupons were always useless.

They gave up on that one pretty quick.

P.S. could an architect with a psychological fixation about complicated arrangements of buildings be said to have a complex complex complex?

I had to read that not once but twice to even wrap my head around three complexes. WOW  :o
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?
