Topaz work, no longer a photo.
« on: July 29, 2013, 07:07:41 AM »
I just got done reading and answering a question posed by Craig about Topaz plug ins and I honestly couldn't remember which ones I actually had (as compared to some trial plugins I didn't keep).  I had to open up my Photoshop and open a recent image to view my list of PlugIns.   Once I did that, I realized I had not worked with many of the options available in those plugins. For grins, I hit one of the options in the Simplify plug in and found that I REALLY like this.  Now that I have done this, I am wondering what it would look like on canvas.  I think I'm gonna price it out.
Anyhow, has anyone else gone nuts with a photo they liked and played with those plugins to come up with anything really off-the-wall?  Feel free to post here if you have.
I thought it better to post this in Off Topic discussion because it is no longer a photo at all, but a piece of artwork.

Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

Very nice treatment of your "former photo."  ;)

I have done something similar with the PS options but never anything serious.  I tend not to want to mess with the "real thing" as it existed in the viewfinder.  But that is just me, most of the time.

Keep playing and see what else you can show us!

Really neat. That is stuff I see here looks a lot like stained glass.

That turned out really good, great work.  It took me a while to realize those figures in the foreground are people.  I like playing around with the different plug-ins and PSE itself.  You knocked it out of the park with this work of art.
