And also, what's wrong with requiring that t2iforum members use a T2i to capture their POTM submission? I don't record my Stratocaster and post it on Les Paul forums. I too go with the Indian not the Arrow mentality, but people come here to talk T2i and see what they're capable of.

So when we do a night or panorama POTM, a 5D user has better light gathering and pixel count and all the benefits. You can be the best manual shooter around and be at a disadvantage. Just make this into a Canon everything site like the others if we've all gone past T2i. I don't submit to POTM and just vote so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

I fully understand what you are saying.  After buying the T2i, I joined this forum last year because I liked all the advise and common issues with the T2i, and the great photos people posted.  This forum has grown a lot since my short time being a member.  Yes, the more expensive Canon bodies result in better quality shots as does the more expensive lenses.  I still use the T2i and recently bought a 60D, obviously neither of these bodies are as good as a FF.  All that being said, I look at the POTM contests as a challenge with people using better bodies.  The best thing I like about this forum is that it is a small network of people compared to those larger forums.  Personally, I don't care what camera body people use to post shots on this forum as long as they started with the T2i.

Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

Keep the votes coming. I mean it is nice that we already got 16 votes in here but lets keep them coming.

I am going to have an interesting observation about the final votes as I have noticed something in the last couple of months that I find sort of interesting.

I am interested to hear your observation once everything wraps....

I've always wondered if anyone notices anything in particular with these comps...
