Finally nearing the deadline it's nice to see a good turnout for the first comp of 2012!

I'm loving many of the shots and will find it hard to pick a top 3 let alone the final choice.

Really like the beer bottle shot nftyffty but the OCD in me really would love to see it with the words straight...   :-[
I once prayed to God for a camera, but quickly found out he didn't work that way.... so I stole a camera and prayed for his forgiveness.

One last one...had to get permission before posting :)  I call this EYES Cold Beer.  Great postings by everyone!  Fantastic photos!
We have done so much with so little for so long, we think we can do anything, with nothing at all, in no time flat.

17 total entries this month. That is great. I don't think we have ever had 17.

Now it is time to vote.

It looks like we have 3 clear favourites anyway. Just happens to be the 3 I voted for yet again  ;)
I'm just glad I finally get a vote that isn't my own (its only taken a year)!   ;D

I tried downloading Craig's shot to edit the writing on the hat to say T2i but the quality was way to low copying off the site.
It might be fun as a side game (if Craig's up for it) to load up the RAW file and have a go at editing it to see if anyone can do a real convincing job.

Nice work everyone and roll on Feb's comp.
Make sure you guys with the votes start thinking of themes in case you win!

Oh, and I think it would be good if everyone could title their shots going forward. Mine should have been "search for the Higgs Boson" but I didn't remember to state the title. Perhaps you can put it in the rules Skip?

Yes I like it when we title them but I don't like to require to much. I like to keep it as open as possible.

Also, Skierboy is correct and you guys need to think about themes but I am going to take the suggestion and delay your theme for a month. This way we will always know with plenty of time what our theme is going to be. Next month is going to be a wide open anything goes month followed by whatever this months winner gives us.

This is cool.

We have 29 voters casting a vote. Now why can't we get those same 29 over in the Photo of the Year thread?
