There is still time to vote!
Never stop photographing. It is very likely that your best photograph has not yet been captured

Congrats Tart! I am satisfied with the tie as I feel that any of these shots or even a few that did not make the cut could have been crowned. As a co-winner I am just going to say that I am very proud and honored to share that last gold medal.

Now a little about my shot that is a co-winner. That fall does not normally look like that. It is a fall that you have to catch at the right time to get it so full of water. To me it is worth the hike, it was a four mile round trip hike, to get this sort of shot. Now if you knew me and the fact that I broke my back a few years ago and still suffer from what is going to be a lifetime set of issues then you will know that just doing that hike is quite the accomplishment. I am also very proud of the fact that the same shot has the second highest score in my local club and is accepted for year end judging by a separate panel of judges to be considered for our clubs "Shot Of The Year".

And Congratulations to you too Skippy, it is an honour to get this far in my very first year as a keen newbie photographer and to share first place with yourself is the icing on the cake.  As you said any one of the POTM winners could easily have had this accolade the work from everybody is stunning.  Whilst yours was such a challenge to get mine was a mere chance in the rain shot.  Credit to you Skippy!

Good luck in your club final.   8)

Congrats to you both - they are both awesome photos!

And congrats to Nightowldvp for an equally amazing shot in third place...

I have to say, that even going through all original 12, it was too damn hard to pick a favourite...

I agree with Zubbuz on the awesomeness of the winning shots.
All 12 are worthy of very high praise.
Great job to all !   :)

Congratulations to all the POTM winners for the whole of 2012 and all three finalists.

Some stunning shots have won through and although neither Skippy's nor Tartlaghan's could be separated, special congratulations go to the photographic 'newbie' from this side of the pond for such a well-observed and captured shot. Well done Doreen! :)

I was amazed by all 12 so it was hard for me to have to pick the first time, let alone the second time. I about pulled my hair out on that third go around!
Congrats to each and every one of you guys and gals!!
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

Fantastic choices for these top three. I always forget to check out The Competition Corner, so Facebook brought me the news!
