Only 3 entries this month. Mixed feelings from me ;)

The Colour of B&W 1 - Runner-up - Bish

The Colour of B&W 2 - Third Place - Suka

The Colour of B&W 3 - *Winner* - Zubbuz

Please choose your favourite image and then give the poll a bump. Thank you.

Votededed.

Question for the officials: was this "The Colour of B&W" or "The Colours of B&W"?
Not that I have an issue with either, I was just under the impression that these sorts of contests were usually bringing back just one color, not an area of colors.
Or was it simply the fact that we really REALLY need more entries?  ???

Either way: I surely love the photos presented to choose from!
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

The explanation of the theme was given as:

"The Theme for October's competition is 'The Colour of B&W'

A little clarification of what to aim at:
The image should contain both black and white and colour elements - commonly seen in selective colour or colour popping, but not necessarily as strictly interpreted as that - experiment - interpret it how you want"

 ;)

Good reading skills there D ;) :P

We specifically included that caveat so it wouldn't be as limiting as as true selective colouring. That being said, the number of entries isn't exactly high... Snapper's enthusiasm must have put everyone off!

Or it could have been the Theme chosen...  :P

Haha I didn't mind the theme - as you said, it is something outside the usual box and to be honest, the 3 entries aren't bad!
