Master/Slave ETTL?
« on: July 15, 2012, 05:34:50 PM »
So, in the very near future I plan on buying a Nissin 866 Mark II flash for both it's High Speed Sync capability and it's Master Wireless ETTL capability.

My question is... because my Yongnuo 560ex and Yongnuo 565ex both act as wireless slaves, will I need pocket wizards to activate those flashes or will they work on their own?

For example, can I have the Nissin on my hotshoe and the 560 and 565 mounted on lightstands with umbrellas and activate them wirelessly with the ettl settings from my camera?

Can I set the nissin for fill at 1:4 ratio, the 565ex at 1:1, and the 560 at 1:3 ratio and have them automatically meter? Or will I need pocket wizards for something like that?

Thanks!
