"Pets" Photo Competition
« on: August 07, 2012, 08:53:47 AM »
People can share their favorite shot of "kitty-boo", "poopsie", or maybe something more exotic,  and then we'll all vote for our favorite.
If you all like the idea...start adding photos!

And one rule for this post - you can't vote for yourself.  ;)

This seems like the perfect competition for rpavich!

The amount of razor sharp pug shot he has is incredible!

OK - this isn't actually a great shot, and it isn't my pet either (my wife's parents)... But thought I would throw it up out of interest.

He is a 2.5 year old Black Russian Terrier and this photo does not do his size any sort of justice! For reference, I'm about 6'4" and if we are both sitting down, he is decently taller than me. He has to lower his head to rest it on the dining room table when he stands beside it... When he gets really enthusiastic and jumps right up onto me with me holding his front legs (or they are on my shoulders) his head is pretty much at my head height....

He is a giant dog!

totally sympathize in the lost pets category. My (my family's) little sweetness, Luther died - I loved that cat!  :'( He was a kinda wild barn cat and we tamed him, but he really was the sweetest thing EVER. Finally, one night a coyote got him. Tell ya what, I have a solid vendetta against those things now.

Ok, I'm done gushing. *Sigh*

(Photo wasn't taken with a t2i)

My kitty. I actually had to give her away a few days ago :(

And I also had to compress the darn image. Oh well, I still love the bokeh.

Phil. My wife says it's a tie between him or me as to who the neediest male is in our house.
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

The poll is up!

No reward...nothing. Just knowing that you won. :)

'exkalibur' is voted most likely to win, seeing he has tons of pets! :)
