As Exkalibur is rather busy at the moment I have uploaded 3 RAW files for us to play with.

The three shots are of the River Rance as it flows through Dinan in Brittany, France.

Taken a few weeks ago when I was over there - I will be going back to the region in 2 weeks  :D

Merge/crop/edit as you wish  :)

Odd . . . I had to rename the file type to CR2 in order to open it. The files d/l'd as 'file' types vs RAW.

Photoshop HDR. Some Topaz adjust. Also, Replace color ... in Photoshop as the sky and some boat trim was overly purple.

OK, I know that this isn't really a photo manipulation competition but I didn't do that much - only rotation plus layering - after HDRing... I just thought this would be a perfect opportunity to try this..


Sometimes when you reflect on life it becomes a lot clearer, more understandable and a lot more pleasant looking.......

Yep - I did it with one of the originals a few weeks back as well!  ;)

how do you save the picture? When ever I download there is a error.

You should be able to just click on the 3 links in my original post to dload the files. The files must be O.K. because all the other entrants have been able to download them and I haven't changed anything recently.

Actually, nope it didn't! I am very new to the whole RAW thing, so I'll wait out this post and maybe try next time. I have to set-up my adobe element software. Thanks for helping this newbie!
