I gave it a go. I like playing with single RAWs.

Currently on holiday in the Italian Lakes  ;D

Logged on to see what was occurring and thought I'd upload the following RAWs from a visit made yesterday.

I do hope that these will keep the workshop going...

Shot 1 (Normal)  http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40709527/Italy_0.CR2
Shot 2 (-2)  http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40709527/Italy_-2.CR2
Shot 3 (+2)  http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40709527/Italy_%2B2.CR2

Straighten and crop as you wish  ;)

Arrivederci  ;)

I used to be a very negative person... but then I went digital.

So we should use these instead?

So we should use these instead?

Although 'pseudo' HDR can be produced from just 1 RAW file, the full dynamic range is not present.

I uploaded the 3 RAWs to help out as both yourself and racheltexas had stated that you were struggling to upload the usual files at this stage and I could only see one entry.

I am happy for these 3 files to be used instead but am equally happy if people want to stick with the one file. Or even both as this is a workshop and not really a competition.

What do the rest of you guys think?

I will not be back in the the UK after my holidays until late Tuesday and so cannot produce an entry until then...

I would prefer to use the three uploaded by Snapper as this is an HDR comp, not a tone mapping comp...

Or any other set that any of the previous winners can upload... I'm easy...

Sorry about the entry - didn't know you'd need multiple files. You can tell I'm new to the whole idea.

If peeps want to use Snappers - knock yourself out! (That means use them) ;)

No worries, I didn't mean my post to sound as harsh as it did! When you're new to something you most certainly can't be expected to know everything right off the bat!

By the way, I do like your dragonfly shot  :)

Done with PS CS6 and Topaz Adjust. Sadly, I sucked at trying to get the sky right so I replaced the color there.

Rachel - did you see my post up there to you about the reason that multiple images are used?

I like what you did to replace the lack of clouds in the original - good job! :)
