Never stop photographing. It is very likely that your best photograph has not yet been captured

Snapper...that shot is Golden dude.  What a nice job of getting a sharp reflection too.  :)
Take your camera with you dammit. You can't take your next "best photo" if your camera is sitting at home in the bag, now can you?

Hey, I finally used that camera thingy that had been sitting on my desk for weeks now. (don't judge)
I tried out the new 70-200 f2.8 on my daughter in law, Kristin.
Natural lighting only because I went over to the kids house with the intent of helping him with some heavy lifting but I took the camera along.
Next up: adding flash.

Too kind, Doddle. Taken with my Android tablet so I'm pretty pleased with the result ;)

NO WAY!! Are you kidding me?!
WTF do we need expensive cameras for??

Oh and thanks.  I'm still playing with the numbers but that was f2.8 @ 250th.

WAY!! Checkout the EXIF data on Flickr ;) A bit of PP in LR might have helped, though (vibrancy, sharpening, clarity & cropping) :)

Black-crowned night heron perched on Sleeping Beauty's castle in Disneyland!  Crummy iphone photo.  Looks like I need an android tablet!

Ocho, you were in Disneyland without your good camera? *sinful omission*
Still, you got a cool Heron and that's the main thing. :)

Well then I'm an unrepentant sinner!  Can't have a clunky DSLR slowing me down when dashing between rides. Disneyland is a full contact sport for my family and they'd leave me behind.  Now that I'm back home I need a vacation to recover.  :P

Glad you appreciate the heron. When I saw it I thought "Doodle's going to dig this".

Good call actually. I never thought about that. When we went (to D-world decades ago), we only had one of those small compact cameras but that worked for us.  Now that our kids are grown, if we went back I would take the beast since we wouldn't be doing any 'dashing' to rides. ;)

Sometimes you just have to go for the cliche and get the long exposure of Christmas lights.
