I used to be a very negative person... but then I went digital.

Ocho that looks so cool and so wrong at the same time.

Is this better?  Doesn't seem to have the same cheery holiday feel, but I guess we need to keep Doodle Bish (oops!) happy:

Merry Christmas everyone!*

My first bird photo of 2015
« Reply #3 on: December 25, 2015, 03:47:46 AM »
I just realised that I haven't posted a photo of a bird yet this year, unlike Doddle, Suka and Ocho, so here is one in its normal environment for the season.

My settings were: streaky bacon, 6oz butter, salt, pepper and foil.

Long exposure of around 4.5 hours at f/325 (c/170).

Post Processing will be in a Light Room with the usual trimmings and assistance from the family.

Merry Christmas, everyone! :)

Great bird shot Snapper!  You must've used a fast shutter because you really froze the action.

Oh, and thank you very much for making me wish the turkey in my oven right now was wrapped in bacon!   >:(

Schoolboy error, Ocho! Best way to keep the breast moist and it's bacon whether it works or not! :)

Playing with a USB powered Christmas tree, a window at night, and a curtain wrapped round me to limit reflections of me.
