Magic Lantern's focus peak
« on: September 20, 2011, 01:13:22 PM »
in the newest software version i experienced a change in the focus peak function
as soon as I begin recording the focus peak stops working (dot don't show up anymore, just some shapes) after a couple of seconds they show up again. I find it annoying because when i record i still need the function active.

anyone with a similar problem?

thanks for the reply

updated from 22aug to magiclantern-2011Aug28.550D.109.60D.110.600D.101.alex.zip (i copied the new files and replaced the old ones + removed magic.cfg)

it didn't solve the problem. the focus peaks become still lines after i start recording

The latest version listed on the wiki is September 17 (not considering the bleeding edge). In my camera, focus peaking only stops for one second or two.

With the ones from august, the delay was 5 or 10 seconds if I remember well.

On my camera, focus peak only stops for 0.2 seconds or so. Do you really need focus peak not to pause at all? (it's just a split second...)

the small moment seems to be ok. Still a1ex, do you have a clue which is the newest older version where this problem don't occur at all? thx very much for the support
