ML - Bulb Ramping
« on: January 22, 2012, 04:50:32 PM »
Can someone explain how bulb ramping works?

I tried to enable it and let it sit for a few minutes but it kept 'calibrating' and saying too dark or too bright.

After about 5 minutes, it just said 'No Image' and stopped the intervalometer...

Just wondering if others have this issue with MagicLantern or if I'm missing something.

Thanks in advance!

That was one idea, I just can't get it to actually work... just sits going back and forth at the calibrating stage.  I feel like I'm missing an initial step or something but can't find it or a step by step guide for bulb ramping.

first go to ML menu and turn on the bulb ramping and choose the time.
Then go to M mode on the dial, choose the f stop you want and set the shutter at BULB
To activate the just half press the shutter , i think the auto focus should be turned off.
