Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask a question.. Im still kind of new to this magic lantern thing and I was interested on how to do the time lapse function, I have heard of it and watched some tutorials on how to do it but im not entirely sure on how to do it, please help!

Hey Charlie,
If you're looking to do timelapse you need an intervalometer, which Canon don't build into the 550d. So you either need to by an external one or use Magic Lantern which have an intervalometer setting that allows you to set the time between shots and away you go.
