Use ML on reg DS and use Eye Fi card also?

I have an 8gb Eye Fi card and I have a regular 8gb SD card.

I realize that ML has a problem with Eye fi cards but is the following possible...?

Have ML installed on one standard SD card and have the separate Eye Fi card.  When using the Standard SD card it boots and ML comes up....then take out the that card and put in the Eye Fi card and the camera works just like before ML was installed....does that make sense?

Is that possible? It would be like having the best of both worlds.

If you disable the bootflag before inserting the EyeFi card, it will work for sure.

With certain EyeFi cards, it may not boot with bootflag enabled. With others it will work just fine. The only way to know is to try it.

If you are lucky, ML may even run from the EyeFi card (Geo 2GB is known to work on 550D).

Alex,
I just discovered that it won't boot with the Eye Fi card in it.

I'll try disabling the boot flag and see how that goes.

Yes...it works by disabling the boot flag and I do get the best of both worlds...excepting of course having it work on my Eye fi card! :)
Thanks for the help.

Just to clarify...I'm enabling/disabling the boot flag via the "update firmware" method, update firmware, then change the shooting mode to P, TV...etc.

Is this the way to do it or did I miss another easier way?

Right now this is the only way I know.

If you can run Canon's firmware upgrade from the eyefi card, I can fix it.
