Magic zoom is great. One touch of the mag button goes full 100% for a quick sharpness check.
The extra info on the main screen is nice to have.
In live view, the grids and portrait framing is handy. Too bad we can't have a 9 square grid in the viewfinder though.
In macro shots and other critical focus shots, the shutter half-press options are nice, such as the 20 seconds hold. (Like holding the button at half press, so you can do other things like hit AE lock etc., and keep your shooting info alive in the VF)

I suppose it goes without saying the garbage can button brings up the ML menu, where the menu button brings up the standard Canon one. Menu in playback brings up extra ML options. Also, it's easy to turn on/off the advanced ML menu. The advanced one can be overwhelming for newbies.
