Hey all
« on: February 12, 2012, 05:00:18 PM »
Hi,   Just registered today. I found this forum last weekend and enjoyed reading and learning a lot already. I've had my T2i a year now. Just loaded ML on one of my cards last weekend as well and I'm hoping to learn more about that here. I enjoyed reading about ETTR from Skippy's post and enjoyed watching a lot of videos so far. So hello to all, and happy shooting.

Welcome!  And by your screen name, you must play also?  I play the great big fiddle, among other instruments.

You will find this a great place to pick other photographer's brains.  Some really knowledgeable people on this site that love to share their knowledge, or tell you where you can find it.

Thanks Bandmandq,

I play some old time fiddle tunes but not that well. I've built fiddles for a short time. Check out my website if you like (its a bit out of date). hamiltonfiddles.com It's not photo related but I did take all of the fiddle  pictures.   :)

Hey welcome to you Fiddleguy. I am glad that you enjoyed the ETTR essay. I feel so strongly that that writing is so on the mark that I wish I could get everyone to read it. The fact that you commented about it tells me that you have a good understanding of what it is suggesting and that is a great step toward better photos.

Anyway, welcome! Don't be shy. You have already seen first hand how great this forum is so I hope we see and hear more of you out there.
I'm an old film guy just playing catchup in this digital world. Help me out.
