i am brand new not only to this community, but to the world of photography.  it's always been something i've been interested in, but i never had the tools to make it happen.  yesterday i purchased a t2i and am so far LOVING it!  i really want to make this my new hobby and get as involved in it as possible.

anyone who has any information, tips, etc. for me, i would love to hear what you have to say!

thanks a lot!

...jk...

But seriously, welcome!!  If you really want to learn how to use that thing, this is definitely the place!  I just bought my T2i so I am soaking up as much info as I can - good luck and can't wait to see some pics!

The forums are full of tips and tricks but it is best if you just work your way though the manual and understand all the buttons. From there you need to pick a few subjects around the house and try out different settings. Move on to learning the photographic triangle of ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed and at that point you will be well on your way.

Now with that I just say welcome to a great forum full of people that will help you though your learning curve. Don't be shy. If you have a question go ahead and post it. You will get good honest answers from the helpful crew here.
