Hurrah! I got a T2i!

Hello!

Im 25 and from England. I bought a refurb T2i 2 weeks ago. I had been lusting after it since it first came out but wasnt able to buy it until now. Until this point, I've had a canon powershot point and snap camera. I have a website with some of my images: https://www.facebook.com/SnapHappyMe . Most of these were taken with my old camera and therefore required little skill from me. Im slowly working out how to use manual settings with my new camera however am finding I am incredibly slow and miss good shots all the time!! I know, I know....practice makes perfect...hopefully!

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your purchase!
I just looked at your photos on your FB page and thought they were excellent.  Looking forward to seeing what you do with your new t2i now!
Enjoy the forums.  The folks here are super helpful and there is a ton of information available to you here. (as a relative newbie myself, I am still finding new things here daily)
Feel free to pepper these guys with any questions you may have.   They are a knowledgable and friendly group.

Ive already seen many useful posts here ~ I currently have a 50mm 1.8 lens sat in my shopping basket on Amazon and have done since I saw it spoken of so highly on this forum! Still trying to justify its purchase to myself! My 'to buy' list is getting so long........
