I found this forum on a Google search for Canon dSLR forums. What could possibly be better than one just for the T2i?! So, here I am.
My first camera was an old 1900's Kodak bellows that took auto-graphic 126 film. I moved on to a Brownie after that. Later, it was 35mm Nikon, with an FG-20, and then an N2000. If I remember, the N2000 was $800 in the mid 1980's. (Like $2,500 now
) It's worth its weight in brass scrap on eBay now.
My first digital was a Nikon E880. Then, I switched to Fujifilms, with a succession of 4900Z, S9000, and the last an HS10. I still have a z100FD and Z1 for pocket point 'n' clicks.
Along came a craiglist ad for a T2i, and I went for it. It was a college student needing money, and it was quite a bit of kit.
I've since added way to much more to the kit. My best grab was a Sigma 80mm-400mm EX OS APO from eBay. That 18" long, 4 lb. monster is image stabilized, so handheld shots are the norm.
I've sold a few prints here and there, although photography isn't my day job.
