Ordered, but not arrived yet:

A proper audio recording device for videos (Zoom H1)
A 160-LED video light
A Bower TTL flash unit

Also, a friend has, from his pro photography days, a quality Nikon lens. I've ordered an adapter so that I can try it out. It'll be totally manual, of course, but that's OK. I'll probably be posting a teaser with some sample photos in it, to see if anyone can guess what kind of lens it is, and doing a comparison with the same shot taken with a kit lens.

Also on my wish list is/was a directional microphone, but I thought I'd try the Zoom first.

Low end flash to use as fill lighting when needed
New memory card
Hand strap to replace the neck strap
External Monitor

My "if I run into some money" list:
Wide angle lens, looking at a few of them still

My wish list for 2012:

a) replacement of my 18-55mm kit lens, probably with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS USM or Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM
b) replacement of my 55-250mm kit lens with either a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM  or, if I can stretch to it, the IS version  :)
Sometimes I find it really difficult to concentr......  ooooooh! a butterfly!!!!

I've been shopping for a 70 200mmL and I probably will have to accept an F4 not the 2.8 for obvious reasons.

Have a 70-200 f/4 in transit (last day of the B&H Sale)

The 17-35L or 24-70 would be the only other lens I would consider, so I could basically retire the kit lens.

Body wise, I am content for now, and would probably only go to a 7D as my next step, and even then would get it through the loyalty program.... Spent enough money on this drug already.

Camera: T2i w/VG
Lenses: 18-55 Kit, 28-135, 70-200 f4, 100-300 USM, Tokina 11-16, Sigma 50mm 1.4
Flash: 580EX / 550EX  / 430EZ, LumoPro 160, with Pocket Wizards, Broncolor Studio Strobes, Smith Victor hot lights, Kacey Enterprises Beauty Dish, Westcott Apollo Orb

I didn't realize B&H had that lens on sale for $600. Maybe that is why my 70-200 isn't moving at $560...

Yup.... But when the sale ends, you will be back in the hunt. Seems like they go for $450-525 used here in Miami. That was part of my logic with this one, is buy it now, and play with it, and if I don't like/wish to upgrade it I can sell it for $525, and call it a $75 rental.

I might buy either a 1.4 or 2.0 Extender. I need to rent one first and make sure that I love it but I can see it on my 70-200mm 2.8 and think that I will be happy.

If I do not get that then I will very likely get the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM as I have used it and very much like it. But if the Extender gets me the same results then it will be the extender at at third of the cost.

I really do hope the Extender does a good job.

I also might invest in some decent lighting as the need to do some portraits keeps coming up and I hate to pass on it and I hate to borrow stuff all the time. If I do go that route then it will be a lot of DIY and cheaper stuff. I am not going to get heavy into that area.

Now the other thing that I am long overdue for but just resist adding to the bag is some graduated neutral density filters. I have worked with them and they slow me down in the field but they sure can add to the final result of your shots.
I'm an old film guy just playing catchup in this digital world. Help me out.

I bought a nice 15yr old Broncolor strobes, which are cool, but shortly after that I started reading / following the works on strobist.com and realized, that I could achieve a lot of the same work with a hand full of flashes and light modifiers. The nice thing, is that it is much more portable, and you can set them up onsite without needing 110v.

I really need to get the canon 10-22/3.5. I'd also like the 17-55/2.8 too, but that isn't likely to happen. Also- I'll probably grab up a 50/1.8.

After dropping a wad on the computer, my wife informs me that the remainder of my wants this year are modest.

Dual 24" monitor computer system for post work (check, just came in and chomping to get it set up)
50mm Nifty Fifty f1.4
Autofocus Macro Extention Tubes
Speedlite (havn't settled on specifics.  Any suggestions?)

I just picked up a couple sets of WL triggers from rpavich (Yongnuo and Opteka) and a couple more Yongnuo flashes (YN560 and YN468ii), so I'm now looking for lighting accessories to build a small home studio.

A Giottos tripod, probably an MT-9260

Possibly a walk around zoom to replace my Sigma 17-70 so I can use it on my Elan 7. Maybe a 17-40 L or a 24-70 L. If I don't find a deal it won't matter much, I love my Siggy. Just that all I have for my film body that isn't too long is a 35 f/2 and a 50 1.4.

Most likely my largest investments this year photographically will be to stay enrolled in Photo classes at the Community College, mainly to keep the darkroom and facilities available to me.
