Hobson Yard
Built in 1906 by the CB&Q and named after a local yard master, Hobson, measuring 3 miles long by a half-mile wide, handles all traffic coming off four major BNSF routes into Nebraska. It has a locomotive repair and maintenance facility, two main line fueling and servicing racks and a a yard for flat switching cars.

Great photo! I live in Galesburg IL where the next big hump/classification and repair yard is. They make for great photos, don't they? I did a few pano shots from an overhead bridge that were pretty fun.
Very well done sir!

The pic looks like it was taken with a Tilt Shift lens tbh.
Good shot though.

I am right with the last two posts. It looks like a tilt and shift lens was used. Nice shot.

Pretty cool shot. I am like everyone else that at first look thought I was looking at miniatures. Now my curiosity is way peeked as your data says that was shot at f16. What the hell went on in PP to get that look?

I'm not sure of his workflow, but this is a pretty easy effect to do in PS, using gradients and blur.

oh, and great shot! ;)

Lensbaby has a really nice little lense, the composer, that does just this if you don't want to mess around with post processing.  Around $250-$300 and there's a whole bunch of accessories you can get for it too.
