Wow, thanks for all the kind comments.  :)

Applying the tilt shift lens effect is not difficult in PS, I did it basically as shown in Snapper's link above.
The bigger challenge is finding a good subject to shoot.

Skippy, I used the Photoshop Raw file editor to make most of the initial adjustments, like saturation, contrast, and colorizing..  And then made more fine tuning adjustments in the 'regular' PS editor. 

The miniature effect is just an optical illusion (I guess) that tricks your eye and your brain.  It sort of mimics the effect of placing two salt shakers on your kitchen table in front of you, with one farther away than the other.  If you focus your eyes on the closer one, the back one goes soft. 

For me, the bigger challenge was finding a good shot.

Well I'll tell you something about that shot.  I took it from the overpass, while parked on the shoulder with the flashers on, and traffic bombing right by me at 50 mph.

So I'm happy you like it.   ;D
