I recognise that Street with Kwik Fit but cant quite place it - is it running down the back of the Victoria shopping centre in Nottingham?  I used to go up to Nottingham when I was a sales rep and this set of lights looks very familiar (am sad that I recognise roads)  :)
Never stop photographing. It is very likely that your best photograph has not yet been captured

That's right.

I did a fair bit of editing on the first one to get it looking like that. Any critiques are welcome.

Nice shots, Perfect Dark  :)

In photos 2 & 3 I like the vapour trails of the birds that have been fried out of the sky by the mirror in shot 1  ;)
Sometimes I find it really difficult to concentr......  ooooooh! a butterfly!!!!

Good work all around but I am really digging the pans that turn into a planet. What lens and how many shots go into one of those, if you don't mind?
I'm an old film guy just playing catchup in this digital world. Help me out.

Thanks my man.

I'm using the kit lens, and I take about 30-40 pictures in total.

I hear of people taking 6 shots and doing it, I've no idea how, maybe they're using specialist software... I'm using photoshop... look for guides online.

The last few I've done have been taken at really busy points with people and cars everywhere... so I've had to pick my moments to take the shot.

I basically take 3 pictures, top middle and bottom and then pan across. Sometimes the images won't stitch together in photoshop so I do it manually.

Soon enough I'll be getting a fisheye to speed the process up.
