Hey bignoah, in premiere cs5, I unlink the audio and video from the clip, copy the audio and paste it in a new track directly below the original, then use the Audio Effect -> Stereo -> Swap Channel effect on the pasted clip. This gives me sound on both channels. Not sure but there could be an easier way of doing it.
Make sure you don't copy and paste until you've finished all your other audio post processing, otherwise you'll be doubling up your work and have to add other effects to 2 audio tracks.
