Light Science & Magic.  http://www.amazon.com/Light-Science-Magic-Fourth-Introduction/dp/0240812255/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327614526&sr=8-1-spell

It's a big book, but it breaks down everything you need to know about light.

The best book I have found for flash photography is the "Speedliters Handbook". Excellent resource with lots of pictures on how it was done :).

I've been reading Sketching Light: An Illustrated Tour of the Possibilities of Flash by Joe McNally.  I feel like I'm learning a lot!  It's been an easy read.  It doesn't get super technical about things, but it opens your mind to ideas and possibilities. http://www.amazon.com/Sketching-Light-Illustrated-Possibilities-Voices/dp/0321700902/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1327737444&sr=1-1

Rokinon 8mm Fisheye, NiftyFifty, 70-200 2.8L, Canon 50mm 1.8 FD, Vivitar 28-105 Macro Zoom FD, Old Ass Sunpak auto 383 super flash, Polaroid Battery Grip with time lapse timer, Manfrotto 190xprob tripod with a 496rc2 ball head.  That's it for now!  More to come!

Also on Amazon "Speedlighters handbook" is good.

"On Camera Flash" by Neil Van Deikerk is really good too.
