Footage of Superbowl Halftime
« on: February 05, 2012, 09:27:36 PM »
Did anyone notice that Madonna's performance was broadcast at 24 fps?   Much different than the game itself which was way smoother, looked like 60 fps.

I didn't happen to notice because I wasn't the least bit interested in any of the performers :/

My family thinks I'm a geek for noticing stuff like this.   :)  They don't even see it.  But it really stood out to me.  It's funny what your brain picks up on when you're looking at the media world through different eyes.

It seems I (like most of Europe) missed the Superbowl again this year.
Was it good? And who won??

BTW the real game is called rugby and they don't wear a stupid amount of padding either!
Six Nations season has just stated here in Europe. COME ON ENGLAND!
I once prayed to God for a camera, but quickly found out he didn't work that way.... so I stole a camera and prayed for his forgiveness.

I have played both in my youth (I played for Hampshire County side at rugby, SB, and me a Yorkshire lad!). Rugby is a proper man's game  ;). When I wore all that body armour I was invincible (in my mind) until I was hit by another invincible guy.

It hurt!

Rugby isn't as violent as football is because of the pads. Having pads and helmets make guys run faster and hit harder, for longer.  Plus, NFL athletes >>>> Rugby athletes and it isn't close.

The game came down to the last play of the game, it was good, even though I have no favoritism towards either team.
It's sort of an unofficial American holiday.  In my family, we get together and watch, so it's always worth looking forward to.

It's plays like this that make the NFL really fun to watch.   :)
(Just to clarify for those who don't follow American football, this was from a game a month ago, not during this weekend's Superbowl.)
